Chris Gbandi

Notes: The 2000 Hermann Trophy winner for his outstanding defensive performances throughout the season which led to him being named as Big East Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight year. He also managed six goals throughout the season including one in the final which helped Connecticut win the NCAA tournament. He was in the Second Team NSCAA/adidas All-America in 1999 but made the First Team in 2000. He was Big East Rookie of the Year in 1998 and also made the All-Conference first team.
