Notes              : Played at U/20 tournament at Toulon where Parma spotted and bought him from Quilmes in Argentina for £1.1m. Also starred at South American U/20 Championship and was involved with the full international team at the Copa America in 1999. He scored a goal and played extremely well showing that he was a bargain for Parma. Went on a season loan for 2001/02 to Verona and was later sent on loan to Piacenza.
