Notes              : Was an important member of the Argentine side which finished second at the South American U/17 Championships in 2001 to qualify for the World U/17 Championships later on in the same year. He scored one goal as he teamed with Maximiliano Lopez up front. His good play impressed European scouts. Scored two goals to help Argentina finished fourth at the World U/17 Championships. He became a key player for Boca in 2002 and his goalscoring form led to interest from Bayern Munich. In 2003 Tevez won the South American Player of the Year award.
