Notes              : Had a trial with Middlesbrough at the age of fifteen. However he did not earn a permanent move and stayed in Australia with Newcastle. He made his first team debut at the age of seventeen in 2003 after an injury crisis at the club. His impressive performances earned him a scall-up for the cancelled 2003 World Youth Cup despite being several years younger than most of his rivals for positions in the squad.
