Notes              : Signed a three year deal with Southampton after having been involved with Wollongong Wolves in the 2000/01 Australian season. He helped Wollongong qualify for the World Club Championship by scoring eight goals in the Oceania qualifiers. Scored a goal for Australia at the World U/17 Championships in 2001. At Southampton Lucas was immediately involved in their Under 19 team despite being just sixteen years old.
