Notes              : Left-footed player who was a dangerous player for the US at the World U/17 Championships in 2001. He has good dribbling and crossing ability. The residency program did not have the same success as in 1999 but Mapp was one of the few players to impress. Was signed for Project-40 to play in the MLS in 2002 and was chosen 4th in the MLS SuperDraft by DC United. Mapp played three matches for DC United in his first season and in December 2002 was traded to the Chicago Fire for Dema Kovalenko.
