Notes              : Helped Italy win their group at the 2001 European U/16 Championships but unfortunately this led to a meeting with eventual champions Spain in the quarter-finals which Italy lost on penalties. Very good attacking midfielder with good ball skills who along with Italian U/16 teammate Francesco Lodi gives Italy two very good players for the future. Became joint-owned by Bologna along with Giacomo Cipriani from 2000/02 onwards.
