Notes              : Has been part of the Newcastle youth setup since the age of eight. Has bee called the next Alan Shearer but has a long way to go. Has an Indian background and could be one the the first Asian players to make the breakthrough in English soccer. Prolific English youth international who signed a professional deal with Newcastle at the end of 2000. He is one of England's best youngsters. Made his Newcastle debut as a substitute in the Worthington Cup in 2002/03. He also made two substitute appearances in the Champion's League. Chopra was loaned out to Watford in March 2003.
