Notes              : Made his debut in October 2000 at the age of sixteen but even previously to he had impressed Premier League teams in youth academy games. He was a prolific goalscorer for Crewe youth sides and has signed a three year contract with the club. May join the likes of David Platt, Neil Lennon, Danny Murphy and Seth Johnson who all started at Crewe before moving up to the Premier League. Rumours have linked him to all the big English clubs with Arsenal thought to have made a failed bid. He has scored for Crewe eight goals in 2000/01, ten goals in 2001/02 and sixteen goals in 2002/03. He has also represented England youth international teams, scoring three goals at the European U/19 Championships in 2002.
