Notes              : Scored a hat-trick in his second game for Westerlo in April 2000. Continued to score goals showing his good instincts. He is a Belgian youth international. He scored eleven goals in twenty-seven games for Westerlo in 2001/02, which led to interest from the large Belgian clubs. Vandenbergh eventually decided to move to Genk in the middle of 2002.
