Alex Yi

Notes: Pac-10 Freshman of the year as he helped lead UCLA to a 12-6 overall record and its 18th straight NCAA Tournament appearance. Yi is one of three Bruins to start all 18 games this season, and has played a major role for a UCLA defense that posts a 1.02 goals-against average (2nd in the Pac-10) and has recorded six shutouts. A current member of the U.S. Under-20 National Team, he was named one of five Players to Watch by the Missouri Athletic Club earlier this season. Yi has compiled 39 career caps with the Under-17 National Team, scoring two goals, and has three caps with the Under-20 Team.
