He had previously starred in a four team Nationwide Under-16 Tournament in England in 2000 with two goals in the decider against England. Made a £2m move to PSV Eindhoven from Vitoria in Brazil. One of the most talented young Brazilians who should be a good player in the future. Scored a goal and won a man of the match during the World U/17 Championships in 2001.
