Notes              : Was a member of the Brazilian team that won the South American U/17 Championships in 2001 and competed at the World U/17 Championships later on in 2001. Despite not much playing time, as he was used as a substitute, Ribas was very impressive at the World U/17 Championships, injecting energy and flair to the Brazilian attack. His abilities have already come to the attention of clubs such as Real Madrid. In 2002 he teamed with another youngster Robinho to fire Santos to success, winning the Brasileiro championship. As the playmaker in Pele's old number ten jersey he has attracted interest from most of the large European clubs, including Milan, Juventus and Internazionale.
