Notes              : Moved to Bayern Munich from French second division side CS Louhans-Caiseaux in 2000. Has impressed in 2000/01 in Bayern's third-league side. This led to being on the verges of the first team, for example, his late inclusion on the squad list in 2001 in the successful European Champion's League squad. He was called up by the French U/20 side for the World Youth Cup in 2001 where they lost in the quarter-finals to eventual winners Argentina. Moved to Liverpool in the middle of 2002.
