Notes              : In the 2000 edition of the European U/16 Championship he scored the goal against Luxembourg to send England through to the tournament and then scored another goal in the tournament but England were knocked out in the group stage. Helped England improve to fourth place in the 2001 edition of the same tournament, with good play and passing ability in the centre of their midfield. His younger brother Dean Bowditch is also an English youth international and plays for Ipswich Town.
