Notes              : The 16 year old playmaker of the Iraqi team at the Asian U/19 Championships in 2000 who often came on late and created openings with his inspirational play. Against Pakistan he was the catalyst for a 6-0 victory. Was an important factor in Iraq winning the title. Iraq won their first match impressively in the World Youth Cup but did not qualify for the second round. Has made his full international debut against Saudi Arabia in Iraq's 2002 World Cup qualifiers.
