Notes              : At fifteen he became a key player in the South African U/17 international side and won three trials in Europe. After trials at Manchester United and Vitesse Arnhem he was offered a contract by German side 1860 Munich at the start of 2001. Moved from the youth side of South African club Hellenic to 1860 Munich along with teammate Marvin Abrahams. In 2002 Davids became a South African U/20 international and was impressive in 1860 Munich's youth team.
