Notes              : Important central midfielder who acts as the playmaker for the Mali youth side. Scored one goal in the 2001 Meridian Cup with the wonderful effort securing a 2-2 draw and Mali's only point. Helped Mali to third place in the African U/17 Championships 2001 and qualification for the World Youth Championships later in the year. He scored three goals in an 8-0 win over the hosts, the Seychelles.
