Notes              : Plays for Scorpions in Gambia and after good performances on the youth international stage he attracted the attention of Manchester United. Was recommended to Manchester United by Swedish side Gothenburg after a move there collapsed. After two successful trials, including scoring five goals in one practice game, Manchester United used their feeder club Royal Antwerp to sign the player in 2002 from Gambian club Hawks FC. Gomez is already a full international for Gambia.
