Notes              : Mantorras has emerged as a first team regular in the 2000/01 season for Alverca and his performances have clubs such as Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, Barcelona and Inter monitoring his progress. However he is unlikely to move soon as he has a seven year contract with the club. His four goals in the African U/20 Championship, which made him top goalscorer, led Angola to winning the tournament and qualifying for the World Youth Cup later on in 2001. He has recently made the move to Benfica but already large clubs such as Barcelona are scouting him carefully. African Young Player of the Year in 2001.
