Notes: Dennis gained a Cup Winners' Cup winners' medal with Ajax and has two UEFA Cup winner's medals - one with Ajax and one with Inter. He broke Faas Wilkes' scoring record for Holland during the 1998 World Cup, and helped Holland get to the semi-finals of Euro 2000, where they were defeated by Italy on penalties. Having scored 103 goals in 185 matches for Ajax, he earned a £12m move to Inter in July 1993. After not performing as well in Italy Bergkamp joined Arsenal for £7.5m in July 1995, then a Gunners' record signing. Won PFA and FWA Player of the Year for 1997/98, and has ranked third in the FIFA World Player of the Year award for 1993 and 1997. Bergkamp helped guide the Gunners to the 97-98 League/Cup Double.
