ENGLISH NATIONAL TEAM
The England team had a disappointing Euro 2000 where they were knocked out after leading all three group games. Out of these, England only managed to win one, against Germany, who they will plan again in qualifiers for the World Cup 2002. At the end of tournament, Alan Shearer, who has scored many goals for England, retired. Many commentators have thought that England needs to replace its ageing line-up even more. This part of the site profiles the English national team now and what it will be in the future.
